The Invitation…

Hello, Friend—

While the world around us races into the New Year, setting goals and intentions, remember we are still in winter’s cocoon. Yes, the promise of light and growth is ahead, yet winter whispers, “Rest and be still. Get quiet. Listen and remember.”

I have a thing for slowing down. Pausing. Coming together to tend to our tender and tired parts.

I invite you to join me on a 21-day journey to heed winter’s whispers. Not just deep restorative rest. But the rest that allows us to connect to our hearts—where the human and holy meet. Where we remember who we are and what matters most. In circle. Together.

We live in a “wake-centric” world that believes sleep and rest are merely the inconvenient fuel required to help us do more, achieve more, make more, become more wealthy, climb more ladders, dominate and force us to blindly produce rather than remember that rest is not only necessary but the fertile ground in which all goodness grows.

Over time, the messages, voices, and noises grow louder, drowning out our inner voice and connection to spirit. Our hearts heavy, we feel weighed down. We grow anxious, overwhelmed, and have little capacity for what we want most… a sacred life rooted in connection and meaning.

So come. Lay down and listen. Soften and receive. You will be held and guided as you become intimate with your internal world, nourishing your spiritual connection. Ultimately, giving birth to the life you wish to live and the world you wish to see.

Join me in living in reciprocity with life, resting as mindfully as we work and play. Tending the cave of our heart. Remembering who we are and what matters most. Together.

xox, jen

Why Do We Rest Together?

The big picture…

We rest because collectively we are physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. We’ve been told harmful stories about rest that have seeped into our blood, bones, and breath. Rest is lazy. A waste of time. Unproductive. Rest is earned and a reward for pushing, doing, exerting, overextending, exhausting yourself. When we rest together, we heal the weary and disconnected parts of ourselves, each other, and our ancestral lineage. By resting together, we write a new story of rest rooted in love and exquisite care for ourselves.

In circle…

We discuss the big picture and, together, we share our stories of utter exhaustion, deep rest, and what rises from it. We get to practice being a compassionate presence—lovingly witnessing, gently listening, and softly being. Just as we do in our rest practice.

In showing up for yourself and each other in-circle, you have the opportunity to feel nourished, inspired, and empowered. To become an example of what’s possible. To pass on a new story of rest for the generations to come.
